Months after the Nintendo Switch trailer announcement, the January 12 Nintendo Switch Event is finally over and we have the juiciest details about the Mario maker’s next machine. Without further ado, here’s everything we know about the Switch.

Launch date: March 3rd 2017 worldwide

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild confirmed for launch!

Price: $299.99 in USA while in Europe people must check with their local retailer

In the box: Switch console and Switch Dock, Joy-Con (L and R – red and blue), Joy-Con straps, HDMI cable, AC Adapter *console sold with grey or color controllers

Modes: TV mode, 2-player mode, Handheld mode

Virtual Console/Gamecube support: no information announced during presentation, but some kind of VC support hinted

Online services: Online service as free trial after launch but will later become paid, up to 8 systems can connect for local multiplayer, online seems to be a huge deal for Nintendo, more than ever before

Region locking: No region lock for Switch software!
