We have waited a long time to see a new device from Meizu, but according to some rumours the next Meizu flagship will be announced next May.
As it was leaked, MX6 will include 3D touch display, a technology that was introduced by Apple and we first met on iPhone 6s. Moreover, its design will be similar to Vivo Xplay 5
and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. Therefore, a combination of Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and iPhone 6S. 🙂
MediaTek Helio X20
Last year MediaTek presented Helio X20 chip but we cannot say that their production was utilized correctly. We first noticed Helio X20 chip on Elephone P9000 but later we saw that it was downgraded to P10, so now our hope for X20 is on Meizu MX6. Some comments that we can see on the web mention that Android is going to ruin the utility of Helio X20 and ten cores, but let’s just wait for it because MX6 may be a huge success.
Some Specs
Now about the interesting part of the specs. MX6 is equipped with a 64bit deca-core(3-cluster) MediaTek Helio X10. 2x Cortex-A72 at 2.5GHz, 4x Cortex-A53 at 2.0GHz, 4x Cortex-A53 at 1.4GHz. The GPU will be a Mali-T880 MP4 GPU, and it will come with 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage. Its operating system will be Flyme OS which will be based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
