The successor of HTC ONE (M8)
HTC ONE smartphone series are really eye catching and high performance devices. HTC ONE (M9) as the successor of HTC ONE (M8) managed to get even forward by fixing the previous problems and upgrading it’s hardware in general. It has a Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 810, octa core 64-bit, 3GB of RAM and the ability to extend memory with a microSD™ up to 2TB! There are a lot more, but can even those make this smartphone perfect?! Let’s see what user’s issued.
1. Poor Battery Life
HTC ONE (M9) comes with a 2840mAh non-removable battery. As HTC describes, this device can be working up to 25.4 hours for 2G/ 21.7 hours for 3G talk and up to 391 hours for 2G/ 402 hours for 3G in standby. Those numbers are huge considering other similar competitors. Some users are disappointed with the rapid battery drain of their smartphone in under 9 hours, with only around an hour of screen-on time.
2. Slow Charging
In connection with the previous, a few users have found the HTC One (M9) to be charging slower than the Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0 technology expects. Also, It doesn’t ship with a rapid charger. There are some solutions in that problem but not in all cases are so effective.
3. Overheating
One of the most common problem of portable devices nowadays! On HTC ONE (M9) this may be caused by Snapdragon 810, which is it’s processor. Some reports said that is the android software HTC uses. But still, is not clear yet. Who knows..?!
4. Bluetooth Connection Issues
A lot of people are having trouble getting connected to their car via Bluetooth. Usually there are three specific issues that they’re facing: 1) it simply won’t connect 2) it’s connecting, but then dropping, or 3) lagging.
5. Camera Glass Cracks Easily
After the previous problem HTC ONE (M8) faced with its camera cover, that was easy to scratch, HTC decided to take an advice of a rival called “Apple”. HTC used sapphire glass as the cover of the new HTC ONE (M9) in order to avoid any future issues with camera. Quite a few users have reported seeing cracks on the sapphire glass, even without the device accidental bumps or drops. That’s actually really funny.
