Huawei P8 Lite

Huawei P8 Lite made a lot of buzz when it was first released

Huawei P8 Lite lies in the category of the Budget Smartphones. With an excellent battery life and a cost of only $250 Huawei P8 Lite made a lot of buzz when it was first released. In our surprise we struggled to find serious issues with this smartphone but in the end we managed to create the BadFive list for this fellow.

1. Bad Display

Almost every user of the Huawei P8 Lite had the same complaint: “The display simply isn’t good enough”. We strongly agree with this complain and we consider it a huge disadvantage over its competitors. At one time, a 720 p display might have been good enough but in 2015 it is disappointing. Huawei should have known that a display of 1080p is a predefined minimum for the users. Failing to reach the barrier of 1080 p could result in many future buyers of this smartphone to think twice before buying it.

2. Mediocre Headset Sound Quality

Although Huawei P8 Lite appears to have a decent speaker it seems to be struggling with the sound quality of the headset. The quality of the sound coming from the headset has been characterized by many as awful. This is considered a huge drawback for users who want to use this phone to listen to music for various activities. Hello? Huawei? Are you listening? No with this Headset sound quality, you are definitely not!!!

3. Shipped With Android KitKat

This seems to be bothering a lot of users although we consider it to be a medium problem since you might be able to upgrade to Android Lollipop in the future. It made it to our BadFive list because it is a complaint of the majority of the users and for the fact that it is unsure whether you will be able to upgrade to future versions of lollipop as well.

4. Dual Sim – Not So Much

We find this very irritating because Huawei has advertised a lot that Huawei P8 Lite has the feature of the dual sim. They emphasized on this feature but they forgot to mention that you can only use two SIM cards when you are NOT using an SD card since the slot of the second SIM is common with the microSD slot. Arrrg! So irritating!!!

5. Sluggish performance

This is the last thing to our BadFive list because it was really expected. On average this smartphone has great performance but there are sometimes that there is noticeable lag when opening apps or when you are scrolling.
