Larry Page has finally made the flying car a reality and Casey Neistat is flying it

Flying taxis are on the way

Last year we reported that Larry Page was working on a secret project that focused on creating flying cars. Well, this year Google’s co-founder has delivered, at least partly, on his promise.

Kitty Hawk, which is the startup that has been working on this ambitious project, has managed to create the Flyer. This vehicle is a personal electric flying car, which uses propellers to hover and fly over lakes. The purpose of this aircraft is to enhance your personal flying experience, as they mention on their website.

Although they are not for sale yet, they might become available soon, since Kitty Hawk has already begun marketing the craft. In an effort to promote the Flyer, the company has invited one of the most famous and influential YouTubers, Casey Neistat, to test the craft. With just a few hours of training, Casey was able to fly the small aircraft with ease. You can watch Casey’s experience with the flyer on his recently uploaded YouTube videos.
