After conducting a week-long survey with multiple questions regarding Pokémon Go we were able to come out with concrete conclusions about the world’s first impressions of Pokémon Go.

We analyzed the data collected from the survey and we will be publishing the results this week, answering one question a day.

How Much Time do You Spend Playing The Game ?

Never before has a smartphone game made so many people play for so many hours on their phone. An astonishing 14% claims that they spend more than 5 hours per day playing Pokemon Go. Adding to that 20.2% that spend 3-5 hours per day on the app, we have a total of 34.2% that are willing to consume most of their free time on a smartphone game. This might be an indication that Pokemon Go can become very addictive in a relatively short period of gameplay.

How Much Money Would You Spend on Pokemon Go (Monthly)

Pokemon Go is a free app and most of the world would like to keep it this way, since 60.5% wouldn’t spend any money on the game. Keeping in mind that Pokemon Go already has millions of downloads and active users, the remaining 39.5% that are willing to spend at least some money on the game are more than enough to make millions of dollars for the app. Around 3% of the respondents have even claimed that they are willing to spend at least $100 per month on Pokemon Go.
