The Nintendo Switch cartridges; small, elegant and bitter?!

You’ve probably seen by now that many YouTube users are tasting their Nintendo Switch games. The rumour was that the cartridges for Nintendo’s latest home console/handheld hybrid taste bitter when you lick them. Well, it’s true.

The reason behind this? A non-toxic bittering agent, denatonium benzoate, was applied to the game card in order to combat accidental ingestion of cartridges by children, pets and in this case, curious YouTubers.

Leave it to Nintendo to think of the most minute detail to incorporate in their new game cartridges.

Tune in for our official BadFive unboxing and review of the Nintendo Switch, in the coming days. We might taste some games too.
