Samsung. What are you doing? Samsung please. STOP!
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is the front-liner of Samsung. It is their jewel, their pride. I have to admit that it was tough to tackle this one down. But after hours of BadFive research, Galaxy Note 4 has fallen. Bellow I present to you the BadFive of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4!!!
1. Downgrade from USB 3.0 to USB 2.0
After reading this I was amazed. I wasn’t sure if it was true or not. I extended my research just to find out if this complain had a solid base. In my surprise it was 100% true and accurate. It is a fact people that Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has downgraded its USB port from 3.0 to 2.0. This lead to a huge disappointment of many previous Galaxy Note 3 users that have upgraded to the new version of the Note. This is considered by many a solid deal breaker.
2. Lag / Touch-wiz
The TouchWiz UI strikes again. The king of the smartphones couldn’t remain unaffected by the buggy UI of Samsung. Multiple people reported that just a few days after using their Note they noticed a fair amount of lag. Apps freeze and the touch response after fairly using the phone sometimes becomes slow. The most common problem of this kind that has been reported is the fact that many users have experienced frozen screens when on call with another person and trying to perform a different action like switching calls.
3. Bloatware, Bloatware everywhere.
Samsung. What are you doing? Samsung please. STOP! It is unacceptable that a powerful smartphone like the Galaxy Note 4 will be limited by its own software. The first thing that people notice after buying this phone is that a fair amount of its RAM is consumed by a large amount of useless apps that run on the background. Poor Note… straggling to reach its power.
4. Battery life is not as good as it should be
Being in the BadFive team I really expected to see this complain from the users. It is a follow up that such a powerful phone would require large amounts of energy to work. Knowing the power of this smartphone Samsung should have invested in creating an equally powerful battery.
5. Expensive
Not a technical problem but still a huge complain. It made it to our BadFive list since the majority of the Galaxy Note 4 users claim that the phone is simply too expensive for what they get. You expect that a phone of this quality will be expensive but not so much.
