Next is now…that’s at least what Samsung claims
The Samsung galaxy Note 5 is the new member to Samsung`s note family. With improved ergonomics from the ground up, nailing the design and feel using glass and metal for constructing the exterior to the camera and display which it is not a secret that both are of the greatest you can find embedded on a phone on today’s market! OR ARE THEY? Many unsatisfying features have been spotted on the note 5 but these are the 5 most striking:
1. Removable battery is an offer no more!
The feature of a removable battery is a thing of the past on the new Galaxy Note 5.It might
offer a much more unibody and sleek design to the device but what happens in a case of a
real emergency? Yes we know! Fast charging feature by Samsung. That is not the answer
since people who buy the Note-line are power users that demand a fast swap of a spare full
charged battery!
2. SD-card slot not available
Samsung has removed the comfortability of an SD-card slot. So as with other phones the
user is stuck with the default store bought storage. Additionally, since the price of the
Galaxy Note 5 is quite high if someone is in the need of more storage then the pricing rises
as well!……and NO Samsung online storage sometimes is not the answer!
3. S-pen mechanism flaw
As Samsung calls its stylus the S-pen, a major flaw has been spotted on the new model. See,
the S-pen on the new Note 5 is spring loaded and there is not a distinction on how to insert it
on the phone whether you are doing it the right way or wrong way, thus it might be inserted
the wrong way resulting in damaging the electronics and stacking the pen in the phone! Well
someone might have a bad day breaking his/her newly bought phone and that won`t be a
happy customer I guess!
4. Forward to the past with the new battery
The new Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has a slightly smaller battery life that the previous model
Samsung Galaxy Note 4. The new one offers a 3000 mAh battery while the oldest a 3220 mAh
battery. So Note 5 is without a doubt packed with less power making a significant difference
throughout daily use and more charges making it even more powerless.
5. IP67 certified #Not
The new Samsung Galaxy note 5 is not IP67 certified meaning that it has no waterproof nor
dust proof reliance so for someone working in an environment that is maybe wet or dusty
this is not the phone he is looking for! “But you can always buy a heavy duty case/cover to
keep it protected”. And we are telling them that there is no reason for that since that would
mean a heavier and by no all means uglier phone from the moment that Samsung did a quite
decent job on designing it in and out!
