Another year, another galaxy s phone for us to judge. We really expected more from Samsung but all we got is a smartphone not so different from the previous galaxy s4.Well, the BadFive team shows no mercy so let’s just step right into it.
1. Front Camera is very bad
Samsung is well known for not listening to its user’s demands. After experiencing a very bad quality with the front camera of galaxy s4 we all expected that some improvement will take place in galaxy s5. In our surprise not only the front camera of galaxy s5 hasn’t improved, but on the contrary it appears to be downgraded!!! Since we live in the era of selfies this could be considered a huge flaw.
2.Touchwiz
Here we go again. Although Samsung has made some improvements over the last years regarding Touchwiz it remains the number one complaint of Samsung users. Touchwiz is not as laggy as it used to be but it still performs poorly compared with other android phones. The phone freezes rarely compared to the previous galaxy s4 but it is still consider a huge problem.
3.Bad Design
Samsung doesn’t seem to get it. We said it before and we will say it again. The design of the galaxy s5 phone is quite bad compared to its competitors. It is bulky and very hard to use on one hand( unless you have huge hands ). The camera seems to be sticking out, which could be a huge problem unless you find a proper case for it. Finally it is made of plastic which makes it ugly. Come on Samsung, a little metal on this phone wouldn’t heart.
4.Phone heats easily
This appears to worry a lot of people. Although Samsung Galaxy s5 performance doesn’t seem to be affected by the overheating it is still something to consider seriously. The phone heats very easily in a very short period of time when playing games and even when using the camera (!!!).
5.Low quality speakers
This is not a surprise to anyone. Samsung stays loyal to its reputation of having a very bad quality speaker compared to its competitors. With almost no bass effect and a very but quality of sound, this flaw made it easily to our BadFive list.
