Samsung Gear 2

this Smartwatch still suffers from many problems

Samsung is struggling to reach its competitors in the wearable market. This time with Samsung Gear 2 they have made major improvements in the field of Smartwatches but it seems that this Smartwatch still suffers from many problems, five of which are reported in our BadFive review below.

1. Only Compatible With Samsung Devices

It is really unbelievable that Samsung insists on keeping its smartwatches compatible only with a list of its own devices. It is definitely a deal breaker. Before buying Samsung gear 2 make sure to check the list of the compatible devices first.

2. Limited Number of Apps

When we say limited number of apps we actually mean that there are hardly any apps on the Samsung gear 2. It seems that this is a major complaint of all the users of the smartwatch who rightfully demand more apps for their device. Keeping it simple doesn’t mean that you don’t put anything on your device at all.

3. Pointless Camera

With a camera of only 2mp we don’t really see a reason why it should exist at all. It seems that a fair amount of users of the Samsung gear 2 agree with us. It affects the design of the smartwatch for no good reason. It also adds to the price of the device making it much more expensive that it should be.

4. Expensive

Following up from the previous problem users of the Samsung Gear 2 complained that the smartwatch is simply too expensive for what you get. We agree with the users to an extent. The smartwatch might be a nice, intelligent accessory to wear, but compared to other competitors in the field of Wearables it is overpriced.

5. Battery Life So-So

You expect from a smartwatch to have an excellent battery life since there isn’t really any major processing power required. Anything less than pure excellence is considered a flaw. Such is the case with the Samsung Gear 2 battery life. It is not bad, but it’s not good either.
