So you thought Google could release a new phone in 2018 without offending anyone? The reactions are mixed and BadFive collected the most funny and sarcastic tweets about Google’s new flagship.
The Pixel 3 could definitely win “the most leaked phone in the history of smartphones” award and is finally released by Google. (MKBHD I’m talking to you). The Pixel 3 was released on Oct 9 2018. Google couldn’t resist the “notch challenge” so the Pixel 3 XL comes with one, even though they mocked Apple’s iPhone X last year for having one. Here are people’s reactions:
THE NOTCH

First off Google started the event with this video:

People of course responded, and even fanboys couldn’t fight back.
I give up. I can't defend Google on this one, what a terrible keynote 💔😥

Okay, so let me get this straight…
They trolled for days about how we "thought" we knew everything.
They even played a promo about the leaks at the beginning…
Now, they are pretending like we didn't know? Not acknowledging the leaks?
ooookay. #madebygoogle pic.twitter.com/mAjsMIxuV4

the CAMERA
Google even compared the Pixel 3 low light capabilities to the new iPhone Xs throwing some “shade” to Apple’s new flagship: (pun intended)

conclusion
Summing everything up, the initial impressions of the Pixel 3 were mixed. Some people liked it and some others criticized it heavily. In my opinion the Pixel 3 lineup is a great phone, especially the camera. It has some new and unique features that definitely make it stand out. Google really tries to innovate and improve the way people interact and use technology in their daily lives making the Pixel phones proof of that.
