Makes the future looking bright
Microsoft is trying to convince us that this Xbox is not a fault of the mother nature. Company’s presentation at E3 of 2015, showed a huge platform and timed exclusives as well as genuinely impressive new features makes the future looking bright for Microsoft’s chunky console. But what’s the catch? Lets take a closer look on what owners issued.
1. Console makes a grinding noise
Reports are showing a number of Xbox One having problem with their disc drive. When an Xbox One game, music CD, or a movie on a Blue-Ray or DVD disc enters the optical drive, you can spot a grinding noise from it. At least, users report that it doesn’t actually damage the disc. Microsoft announced this specific issue multiple times and confirmed that owners can return the hardware by visiting the Online Service Center in order to request a repair. So much trouble..
2. Power On Issue
Another issue being reported by users is that the system won’t power on. This could be the console itself or the power brick. Microsoft has a bunch of solutions to the support center for that issue. Even the current solution exists: “If possible, borrow a power supply from a friend’s Xbox One console. Try that power supply on your console. If your console works, there’s a problem with your power supply and you need to replace it.”. What? Are you serious Microsoft?!
3. Powering down unexpectedly
This will happen at any time, during play or when you are on the dashboard, in the store and whilst using the Blue-Ray App. In connection with the previous issue, it may also happen when you suddenly succeed to turn it on. Then it keeps on for a limited time only and quickly shuts off.
4. Kinect not pairing with console
This is another common manufacture problem. As it seems there is also a number of users reported that the Kinect isn’t registering on the Xbox One, even when it is plugged in. Microsoft has confirmed to several customers that the issue is with the Kinect, and not the Xbox One itself. So, you may not have to ship your entire console in, at least.
5. Controller problems
Controllers seem problematic. “They cannot connect with the console or they are drifting. Microsoft’s suggested fixes including the typical restarting the console, syncing via USB cable, and removing objects that are between the wireless controller and the console, such as microwave ovens, shelving units, doors on an entertainment cabinet and wireless routers. Ultimately none of this appears to solve the problem.”
